I just got another "file complete" email 5 days after I already received one. Has this happened to anyone else?

I got complete e-mail 1/15 and again today. So, I'm totally complete.

Oh, more than that. Possibly much longer. And no, there's no indication whatsoever.

Viewbook, a couple forms, a letter from one of the deans, all in a nice folder that says Emory on it.

Just for anyone who cares, my acceptance letter was dated December 31, 2009. I didn't get it in the mail till Jan 21st. Don't know why their was such a delay, didn't even notice till I glanced at it on my desk this morning.

that's sort of depressing.... i'll just go ahead and assume that my acceptance is floating around the usps somewhere. i feel better already.

DCD posted in the "who did you hear from" thread I think. He/She just got acceptance via postal mail, applied first week of January.

congrats guys!!!!! i wonder how they get acceptance/rejection letters to those of us abroad... It might take a bit longer, I'm thinking.

Just a heads up for when you guys are looking for places to live: Avoid Campus Crossing like it was the plague. It was the new apartment complexes they put up for grad students only and they had a shuttle during visiting day from the law school to the complex. Don't be fooled. Not even halfway through the lease and they have a terminator come every week because of insect problems, several pipes were installed with holes in them causing mold, and yesterday a water pipe broke causing 1000 gallons of water to flood the 4th and 3rd floor. Not even half way through the lease and it is practically falling apart. If you are doing an apartment complex, do Post.

Sorry this is so far after the initial post, but when i was in town for a visit I read in Emory's student paper about all the problems the grad housing was experiencing. Do you have any info on that apartment complex you mentioned and any others relatively close to campus you might suggest? I really like Emory but have no idea where to look.

I live in campus crossings now and cannot wait to get out of my lease. No cable included, cheap furniture (we have already broken out chandelier, couch and a chair), the walls are thin (i can hear my neighbor playing music all the time), ants infested my apartment and of course the water pipe bursting, which thankfully did not damage my apt but the construction workers all around the building and repairs are terrible.

Better places to live: Post Briarcliff, the gables, or find a house to rent, there are plenty of them near campus.

Also keep in mind that NO 1L's get parking passes at the parking garage next to the law school. So keep transportation in mind when choosing a place to live. (you can park at the hospital garage next door to the law school, but its $12 a day)

My current apartment is too boring. If I go to Emory, I'm going to live there just so I can get some practice suing landlords.
