Re: LSU?
So the content of the courses is different at LSU? I thought that the DCL merely required you to take additional courses and that all the material pertinent to Civil Law was contained therein. While I am aware of LSU's regional reputation, would you say that their degree's portability is further diminished by the fact that the curriculum really is different?Jack2012 wrote:LSU Law 1L with some info....

Re: LSU?
This is the only law school I have attended. When I say it's not much differnet, I'm mean that it doesn't appear to be taught any differently than the rest of the country (common law).So the content of the courses is different at LSU?
They are generally seperated, but professors will usually point out when the other tradition would differ.I thought that the DCL merely required you to take additional courses and that all the material pertinent to Civil Law was contained therein.

Re: LSU?
The history of the different types of law looks pretty damn interesting though. I tend to like history though, I should have studied that in undergrad and grad school.p_r wrote:it looks intimidating. so much to cover in 4 hours...macatak911 wrote:Here's an old exam:darknightbegins wrote:Can you give us any idea as to what the hell Legal Traditions is about?
