Omg me too! Trying not to get my hopes up too high, but some $s would sure help! My application was only complete as of late December when scores came in so it will probably be a couple weeks before I hear anything. *fingers crossed*

in today, 3.1, 166.
scholarship just said "deans scholarship for excellence in the amount of 10,000" and that it is automatically renewed each year with a 2.95 gpa.
that means it is for 10K a year right?
can other admits tell me if that is the right interpretation

That's what I interpreted it to mean, $10k/year contingent on maintaining the 2.95 gpa.gabewatch wrote:in today, 3.1, 166.

In with 30K/yr!
Submitted before Thanksgiving. Stats in profile.
Portland's a great city (I have family there), and I'm enthusiastic about L&C's environmental law program.
Good luck to those waiting!

Came home to find a big envelope in my mailbox - in with 25K/yr. I'm super excited about this! First acceptance in over a month, with a decent scholly, for one of my top choices!
Also travel stipend for the Law School Preview 3/18 & 3/19.

I think I'm gonna take a trip up to the campus on Tuesday so I'll take some photos to post here if people want to make specific requests.

Accepted today with 8,000 per year... was hoping for more but did not expect more. Also will be reimbursed for going there in March, so I'll definitely make the trip.

I'd love to see photos of the law school itself and the actual campus. Also, could you maybe include one or two of the surrounding Portland area? Just the area closest to the school. Thanks!!

Sure thing. I planned on hitting as much as I can area since the law campus is a separate area just a little up the road from L&C proper. L&C is up in the hills SW of downtown Portland so it is mostly residential but I will try to take a wide range of pictures so everyone can get a good feel for the area.

Came home thursday to find the acceptance packet and $5k/year. First school I heard back from and I got in, so a pretty good day overall.

Congrats! Sorry for not responding to your previous post... haven't been on in a while. Anyway, my stats: 166/3.9. As of right now, L&C is my top choice. Hopefully I'll see you at the preview!Tuski wrote:Came home to find a big envelope in my mailbox - in with 25K/yr. I'm super excited about this! Re: Lewis & Clark 2010
Yeah there was a laminated page in the acceptance packet talking about the admitted student days. It says they'll reimburse you up to $400 dollars for transportation (including airfare) and lodging for up to 3 days. I'm guessing a trip from NY is going to run over 400 but it'll at least help, and I do want to check out the area. It states that the reimbursement isn't given to all students, so I'd guess they decide based on numbers or where the applicant is living.kalvano wrote:champ33 wrote:Also will be reimbursed for going there in March, so I'll definitely make the trip.

Thanks, I just found it in the packet, it had fallen out.
It's nice to see, as I and my wife need to go.

Has everyone's online application status changed once they've gone under review or received a decision?

Well, so much for that.
I'd like to go to the admitted students day, but airfare alone for my wife and I is $800.
Good God.
Someone take lots of pretty pictures.

I just went complete last week and L&C is one of my top choices. I have a 3.51/163 and am hoping for around 15k/yr. AM I being too optimistic about my scholarship amount?

My LSAT and GPA are very close to yours but both slightly below and I got 8K per year... hope you get it though.yo! wrote:I just went complete last week and L&C is one of my top choices. I have a 3.51/163 and am hoping for around 15k/yr. AM I being too optimistic about my scholarship amount?
