Congratulations, Burger and Zannie. Awesome scholarship, especially considering NUSL doesn’t hand-out very much in the way of funds.

Re: Northeastern
The official letter was in regular mail, but you know it's coming because your status checker will say "decision letter mailed" in the "mailings" section.oberlin08 wrote:You all heard via regular mail right?

IN!!! $25,500 scholarship w/$3000 co-op stipend.
I heart this school for a number of reasons. My UG school was built around the cooperative education model and had a focus on social justice. I'm very interested in NUSL for this reason, too, especially for my career goals. Plus, my partner and I have put a lot of thought into where we want to live for the foreseeable future and Boson is ranked at the top of that list for too many reasons to list.
I need a celebratory cocktail!

Thanks. I'm not in bklyn right now - just to the west. Umm, but I'd like to be in Fort Greene at this very moment.

Re: Northeastern
I haven't seen anything change on my status checker at all. There is nothing new under mailings or anything. I applied early decision and I have a 3.85 GPA and a 160 LSAT. I submitted on 11/9 and went complete on 11/10. Does anyone know why regular decision people are hearing before early decision people? Also, were the letters mailed to your permanent address or temporary (school)? Is anyone else in the same boat I am?

Re: Northeastern
I wish I could help you out, but I am one of those regular decision people who heard first. (sorry about that!) However, I'm sure you will be fine- your LSAT is just a hair below their median, (though way above their 25th) and your GPA is WAY above their 75th! As I said before, I think this is just one wave of acceptances, and admissions offices seem to organize candidates into certain groups. All that being said, if I had taken the trouble to apply EA, only to watch RD candidates receive decisions before me, I would also be pretty upset!jbarl1 wrote:I haven't seen anything change on my status checker at all. jaskat, please! You got in, and the letter will be there tomorrow.jaskat wrote:I'll be a little puzzled if my letter is an acceptance actually. I mean my lsat is in their 25th percentile and my gpa is a little under their 25th percentile. Unless I just had Kick ass LOR's or a kick ass P.S. I don't know why they would send me a positive reply so soon.
