Is there even guaranteed on-campus housing for Villanova? They don't even guarantee it to their undergrads after Freshmen year because they don't want to be a "college town", even though they most definitely are.

There is a ton of off campus housing near the school. I went to high school 2 miles down the road from it, and Lancaster Ave is littered with apartment buildings.

There is no on-campus housing at Villanova Law. The dean said there are some complexes that rent almost exclusively to law students but nothing official or owned by the university.

According to previous years, scholarships and other financial aid offers aren't given out until just a few weeks before the April seat deposit deadline.
I visited last week and the admissions dean told me the scholarship committee would be meeting in the next two weeks and offers would begin to role out the beginning of Feb.

I received my acceptance letter and it states to call the financial aid office to assist you with developing your package. Has anyone done this yet?

I wasn't really sure what to do about that either.

Got a kind of glorified postcard thing from Acting Dean Doris TelTosto Brogan re-congratulating me on my acceptance.

Congratulations are fine. Scholarship money is much, much better.

I got that too. From what I hear, scholarship money information comes in March.

Noticed on Friday that I went from "Ready for Review" to "In Review." When might I expect a decision based on this?

I don't think its possible to predict how long you'll stay in review. Some seem to have been there for weeks on end. Others just a day or two. The short (and frustrating answer) is to expect a decision anytime between 2 days to 2 months.

I have been complete since 12/7 and have not gone into review. How long does it normally take to go from "complete" to "in review"? Almost 7 weeks seems like a long time.

I was "Ready for Review" (i.e. complete) on 1/4 and "In Review" on 1/22 (although the date still says 1/4, but that was the date I noticed it had changed).

Yeah, mine was ready on 12/30, but has been in review since about the beginning of the week...
