I'm so relieved to hear that that is possible! I'm worried that because I applied to both, they'll throw me in PT.tram988 wrote:I did and was accepted into both programs.

Whoa. Sorry to hear that! It seems like you would have been an auto admit with those numbers last year...goingoingone wrote:Waitlisted :-\

In via mail today! 161/3.74 OOS- 10+ work experience. Does anyone know if scholarship info is supposed to be included in acceptance or come later?

Seems like, so far (with a few exceptions), 162 and up is the magic number.
I remain fully convinced it's a reaction to USNWR including PT numbers in the rankings all of a sudden. They are trying to bump their median and get back T1 status.

Congrats! Does the letter make any mention of scholarships?
No, unfortunately it didn't. There was a supplementary sheet explaining some of the specifics for need-based aid, but no mention of scholarships. If I'm not mistaken, UConn has historically been slow (and a little stingy) when it comes to offering any. Scholarship $$$ will be the deciding factor for me, so I am eager to learn when/whether UConn offers any merit aid.
I wish there was a better current UConn student presence on TLS. Fordham has their OperaSoprano, and all we have is a couple of random posters who answer a question or two and then disappear forever...
I'm a current 2L at UConn taking questions here: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... &p=2522198

In today! 164/3.37 - I just got home from re-taking the LSAT, and was very happy to find an envelope waiting for me! I applied on 11/13, and was "complete" on 12/08.

It appears most on this thread applied FT. Any accepted/waitlisted/rejected for PT?

PT here as well, still waiting. I've been complete for a while now, so hopefully I'll hear something one way or another soon!

For those of you that have had a decision rendered, does anything change on the status check? Thanks..

Re: UConn waiting thread
The only thing that has changed on mine is the checklist of complete application requirements is gone, and my "status" box doesn't say anything other than:connormac wrote:For those of you that have had a decision rendered, does anything change on the status check? Thanks..
Term: Year: 2010
Program Time: D Degree: JD
I think they're using the status checker ONLY to help people see whether they've received their entire application. Mine never said DR or Admitted or anything like that. Good luck!

Re: UConn waiting thread
looking at lsn and how long it took for last years applicants to get a response made me sad. im going to anticipate not hearing back till mid/late march - only weeks before i have seat deposits due at other schools. uconn, i need time to visit (if accepted) before i drop $$ on a deposit!

Uh-oh. My requirements list is gone! Does that mean my decision is in the mail!??! Is it too early for someone who went complete in early January?

Well, my status checker changed to reflect that just today. Last night, it had all the requirement and other stuff on there, blank today.
So I hope that's a good sign.

Funny. I saw it as a bad sign (too early for me, having gone complete in Jan?!?!). I hope you're intuition is right.kalvano wrote:Burger in a can wrote:The only thing that has changed on mine is the checklist of complete application requirements is gone, and my "status" box doesn't say anything other than:connormac wrote:For those of you that have had a decision rendered, does anything change on the status check? Well, my numbers put me close to an auto-admit for UConn, so that's the way I am leaning.

Are you thinking of going to Wake Forest over UConn?kalvano wrote:Well, my numbers put me close to an auto-admit for UConn, so that's the way I am leaning.
