Well, based on my cycle so far, I like the longer waiting period. At least they've not completely boiled it down to a numbers game (at least in my perception). I also feel like I get my application money's worth.

They called me, but I couldn't answer at the time. They left a voicemail simply telling me to call them back. When I did, they asked my name and Soc. Sec. number and told me that they had just mailed my admission letter. Hope that helps. I'm gonna go sing "Rocky Top" all over Ann Arbor now!

Sorry y'all! Don't want to make you jealous; I'm just so excited right now. Because I know waiting sucks, I'll give you my timeline. I applied and was complete on 12/2. I updated to "Review 2/5/2010" and got a phone call today. Hope that helps you guys that are waiting. I'm going to continue singing "Rocky Top" all over Ann Arbor now

I just got in via a phone call a few hours ago. My status changed from review 12/30/09 to review 2/5/10.

I still can't believe I got in! It still has not sunk in yet for me. Best of luck to you all!

I called and was told that being in review for over 6 weeks or even a few months wasn't nec. a bad thing or that unusual, there are lots of applicants in the same boat. But since it's in review the admission staff that answers the phone wont be able to tell us anything else. She also said when a decision has been made the status checker will go blank.


To summarize: read TLS and calling doesn't do any good.

Interesting. My status checker still says "Review 2/5" but I have received a phone call notifying me that I have been admitted.

Updated 2/15: Nevermind. It changed this morning. Good luck everyone.
