I got the envelope today, yay! I am in SoCal. I bet they arrive around here first, so hold out hope, people from elsewhere!

I am definitely applying for this...if I could get significant money there, USC would be very high on my list. I am super excited.

I'm in central NY right now, and I got the info about the Rothman scholarship yesterday.

If I had your stats, I would probably apply to top14 just to feed my ego of the large scholarships I was receiving at schools 95% of law students wish they could attend at ticket

Managamy was dumb and didn't believe that Law School admissions was only a numbers game.

If I had his stats I would have applied to T6.. actually T5 since I'd never want to go to Chicago

Got the invitation today too. Haha, I recognized one of the Rothman scholars. He used to get study rooms all the time when I worked at the library. I liked being able to see the inside of the law school and the campus even though I know it inside and out having been here for undergrad, and I wish more schools had DVDs like it.

Got the Rothman Scholars packet in the mail today. Haven't decided if I'll apply or not, but leaning against it because I have no interest in BigLaw and would rather go to Berkeley than USC anyway.

Well I already applied (had a fee waiver so it only cost $12) but what I meant was I hadn't decided whether or not I will apply for the Rothman Scholars program. Don't think I will. I can't see myself going to USC, to be honest.

I also got mine today (on the east coast)...congrats to everyone that received the packet. Just to double check, does getting it mean that you have a very good chance of getting in (almost certain) or just a decent chance?

Got the Rothman invitation today- totally surprised!! the picture of the USC campus makes me seriously consider SoCal.. f the cold haha

Also, I had a very very public interest-y PS and DS and i don't have auto-admit #, so it really seems they wanna encourage public interest people? Otherwise I can't explain the selection of some invited students here

Unless your numbers are fudged on LSN, you do look like an auto-admit for USC.

And judging from last year's thread, it seems like just about everyone who got this invitation was accepted shortly thereafter. So this should be good news for us.

It kind of looks like anyone above their medians got it, so it's probably a lot. I'm guessing they need to cast as wide a net as possible, since many people with high #'s will simply opt for a higher ranked school.
