Got the call. He said they're still going through deposits but it's "pretty clear" that there are open seats in the class. Said they're looking at about 20 people right now and we should hear hopefully by Monday.

EDIT: He didn't ask me about money...wonder what that means...

I got the exact same call with the same wording. He told me there were small scholarships (10-20k/ year) available but not guaranteed. It seems like there are two calls going around, one where they basically are like "how much do you need to come here" and the other (which I got) is "would you come for sticker/ small scholarship"

Could those who were called tell me what do they mean by "we should hear by Monday"? They're going to give offers and reject the rest who weren't called? Thanks!

No, by Monday they'll know how many seats they have to fill until the next deposit deadline. The May 1st deadline just passed and they are waiting on those who they gave an extension to. Lets say they have 13 seats to fill, they will accept 13 of us who got a call, and the other 7 will remain on the WL with everyone else. I don't think they plan on rejecting anyone yet. Then at the next deposit deadline the same process will happen again.

Different admissions officers call different people from different numbers. Play it safe and call them back.

welcome! I posted earlier here, but just in case you missed it: west coast, pw, no call as of yet. Didn't send in a LOCI until about two weeks ago.

Any idea what range of scholarships were looking at for people accepted next week? I was told there was still "significant financial aid" but that our offers would probably be on the "lower end." Any guesses what that would be based on previous years?

LSAT = 75th, GPA < 25th (so basically splitter). PW. I also got an e-mail to set up a time for the phone call.
However, I'm an international applicant so I received this while I was sleeping and dreaming about georgetown...
Will try to make this phone call happen ASAP.

Same with me lol. I wanted to tell them that I needed some kind of scholarship money to go, but I just blurted out on the phone that I would strongly consider going even without money - hope I didn't screw myself there but just so pumped to get the opportunity as a regular WLer

I have done that already - earlier today. But, admittedly, I did not say G-town is my first choice or I would definitely attend - well, it is not my first choice.
