Just a head's up, I spoke with admissions this morning and they do not offer travel stipends for the ASW. Just the free stay with a current student. So if you're thinking about going to ASW you should sign up for that free stay program soon.

Re: W&M C/O of 2020 applicants (2016-2017)
Need some advice here. GPA and LSAT are at or above medians, went complete in October, and have not heard anything since. Additionally, I received mail for someone who is employed by W&M by mistake in December, yet I live ~1,200 miles away. I called the school about this and they have no idea how it happened, and have reassured me that my address on file is indeed correct and that my application is complete. Apart from my confusion regarding the mail, I am also becoming more anxious from the fact that everyone I know who has applied has been accepted, regardless of whether they applied after me or if their numbers differed from mine. I have emailed the school multiple times to clarify that my application is complete since my status checker is blank in the space for application status. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Should I contact them again, or would I just sound like a broken record at this point?

The status checer is like that for everyone. I would not recommend any further contact, but I would look through your app to make sure there is nothing glaringly wrong. Be patient, so apps just get reviewed later and there's nothing you can do about it.

+1. I know it's hard, but just try to be patient. With your numbers, it sounds like an acceptance will get to you eventually. I've been waiting since 9/2 if that makes you feel any better.

I also applied in October and haven't heard a peep. At this point, I'm assuming I'm going to be waitlisted or denied. They don't start sending out those emails until end of March. :/jstans wrote:Need some advice here. GPA and LSAT are at or above medians, went complete in October, and have not heard anything since. In as of last night. Very surprised by this one, especially since I asked them to hold off until I retook the LSAT. I was barely above the 25th LSAT and above the 75th GPA. Now to smash the LSAT and hopefully increase the scholarship offer. Congrats to those accepted and best of luck to those waiting.

Honestly, I was shocked to have gotten in with that LSAT score. They had sent me a fee waiver, so of course I applied just to see what would happen, never thought I would actually get in, but I am so glad I did because they are now one of my top choices.
I'm sure you will get in with those numbers, good luck!
