Without negotiation they raised my scholarship from 20k to 25k and then I negotiated with other school scholarships and they raised my scholarship to 35k. Same stipulation, top 80 percent.

I also received an unsolicited bump in my scholarship. Pretty equivalent offers from Brooklyn and Cardozo now percentage wise. Any advice on attempting negotiation?

I also got an unsolicited increase today from 25K to 35K per year, even after I withdrew a month ago. Sent another withdrawal email tonight so hopefully y'all get the 105K!

From 30K to a full scholarship. This after I withdrew. It's made me seriously consider Cardozo as an option. Any thoughts on the job prospects? I know the LST numbers but can anyone offer any anecdotes?

Any advice on who to talk to about increasing scholarship $, and how to do it? Cardozo is my first choice and i got a 30k scholarship but I need to be able to get it much closer to 100% if I'm gonna be able to move to NYC and afford living there.

Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

tried to do this and they flat out rejected me, then talked smack about the scholarship offers I used to negotiate (re: retention rates).

HI Guys,

I am considering Cardozo and was curious if any of the 3Ls on here have anything they can share on employment/salaries. I'm most interested in how people going into IP compete in the NYC market.

Does anyone out there has experience with Cardozo's wait list..

Wait listed two weeks ago and I took the offer to start in May however, I am below their median Lsat score.

Wow I had withdrawn with a 30k/year scholly. And then I just got an email today offering 50k/year with stip of need to be in the top 80% of the class.

I wasn't even really considering Dozo but damn....did anyone else get any kind of increase like this?

Did it change your mind at all? Going from 30k to 50k after I withdrew..the email said I should reconsider and they extendeded my tuition deposit deadline. Definitely wasn't expecting it. Are they struggling that bad to get people? My numbers are pretty average.

Yeah, I think they're struggling to meet their desired medians & class size. I'm not sure if I'm considering, actually. I don't think the increase is going to influence me to consider tho.

They do it every year. Apparently withdrawing sends them a wake up call of "oh hmmm, maybe we should've just offered the right amount the first time." They definitely play their schollies. I got this very same email after I withdrew 3 years ago.

Just a quick note. Cardozo raised their offer from 32k to 36k after I leveraged with a full-ride offer from St. John's.

I was offered a bump to a full-scholarship tuition. I withdrew and I hope the money goes to one of you!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
