I'll be there. Any idea what the minimum scholarship cutoff in order to attend the conference is?

I'm not sure. I was awarded the Miami Scholars award so I was invited because of that. I don't have the slightest clue as to all who attends the conference.

I got an email notifying me that I got a 23,000/year scholarship. Does this mean I didn't get Miami Scholars? Do you think I could negotiate a bigger scholarship if I get a higher score on the February LSAT?

161/3.22-accepted w/ a $32,000 annual scholarship. Really enjoyed how organized and quick Miami seemed to be with their decision process

Okay I'm fully convinced that its because of where I live why post is so slow. Baylor, 5 hours away, took 8 days to get to me. OU sent theirs 10 days ago (2 hours away) and it still hasnt got to me. Miami accepted me and sent letter well over a week ago and it still hasnt got here. Texas Tech isnt here either (although that's only 5 days).

Moral of the story: If you want quick post, don't live in the boonies. Its so frustrating to go all the way to our housing office and check the mail 3 times a day (USPS comes 3 times a day to our complex) only to continue to see it empty.

Lol sorry for the rant. I hate living here.

The call they'll tell you the scholarship. 7 days after the call, I got an email with the scholarship.

A lot of resume questions. Some questions about why you are interested in public interest work and what specific type of work within public interest you're interested in. Who is the interview with? If it's with Dean Lennon, she's great and wonderful to interview with.

It's with Assistant Dean Marni Lennon .How long after the interview will you know if you got the scholarship? Does the very fact that I have been invited for an interview mean that my numbers are good enough for the scholarship?

Not sure about what receiving an interview means, but I interviewed in late November (I think...) and wasn't informed that I received the Miami Scholars award until a couple of weeks ago.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
