So general consensus is to update them with info or not? I can't wait to hear back from Emory. I'm really hoping I'm admitted.
From last year's thread:

Addendums and Additional Material: I have been asked to discuss addendums, and I wanted to go through that process for folks. We generally discourage additional material. However, we trust your judgment; if there is something new that you feel significantly impacts your application; we will add it to your file. Because your file is reviewed numerous times, when an addendum or update arrives, we re-distribute your file to those who have already reviewed it so that they can adjust any notes and determine how this new material impacts the original review. This will add some time to the review process of your file, and I appreciate the patience. We usually do not recommend sending new material because your original submission is the one you spent so much time on, and almost always provides us a plethora of great information to base our decision.

I know that might not have been enough detail but given how important it is to be professional and concise I was worried. I asked them to let me know if they needed more information and whether or not keeping in touch daily was recommended.
Taking one for the team here, I will let everyone know what they say.
180. Read this ten minutes ago and I'm still cracking up.

No, definitely do not update them.

Did everyone (that hasn't been admitted) get the email that their application is under review?

No, I didn't get the email. Nor have I gotten anything in the mail from them.

Did yours actually say your specific file was under review? I got the email saying "Update: Applications under review". Just seemed like a mass mail

That's what my email said. The subject line indicated it was under review.

It was definitely just a mass e-mail saying that applications are being reviewed. It didn't indicate anything about the status of individual applications.

For those accepted (if you're comfortable) would you mind sharing stats?

a lot of you guys who are DMing me questions, just post them here, so I can answer them publicly so everyone can see.
Just as a reminder, I'm a 1L @ Emory taking questions.

Just got my scholarship info in the mail. Pretty excited. Emory is definitely my top choice - anyone know if getting a merit scholarship is indication if you are out of the running for the Woodruff? Someone mentioned this in the thread earlier.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
