It's still really early, but for Cornell at least, I don't know if I'd count on any fee waiver. I had the numbers for them but never got a fee waiver, applied late October. I ended up with a bunch of fee waivers that other people with similar numbers to me didn't get, so the entire thing seemed pretty unpredictable.

I'm slightly worried that I might have put my SSN number wrong (On the app it just comes out as xxx-xx-xxxx).
Would that be a big issue?

I think that's normal and done in case you want to print out a copy or something. Either way, it's such a minor part of the application that I would just forget about it. Just relax and don't obsessively check the status checker, because Cornell... has a laid back approach to admissions.

In the meantime, relevant news: the new dean told us that they've increased the financial aid budget. So expect $$$ I guess.
