I think it's usually a call, since the office is "less busy" than they were earlier in the season.
Yeah. The waitlist confirmation says "We will call you in the event you are offered admission."
Ugh i'll be out of the country for the next 2 weeks... hope i won't miss any calls

I think you mean you DO hope you miss a call!!

Congratulations to the superstars that made it off the list!
Not to be all changing the subject, but I sent my form in around a month ago and have not gotten a confirmation. I'm thinking of calling -- is that a terrible idea? I'm having feelings.
Much love to all y'all

Call. My confirmation e-mail somehow didn't come through, and there's another person who they accidentally withdrew.
Eek. Did they un-withdraw that person?

According to what they said earlier in this thread, yes.
Oh, I see which post you're talking about. I'd be really confused if they thought my form indicated withdrawn, because I had a professor send in something to them later, too. But I think I'll check. Thanks!

I am on the Waitlist but am getting bored of waiting for Yale to call. Also, I recently began dating again and would like to have ample funds to take my beau out to concerts/restaurants/clubs/etc.
So in exchange for $3000 I am willing to withdraw. If one donor wants to cover the entire 3k that would be fine, but it would be equally acceptable for several of you to band together to pay.
The Waitlist is likely already quite small, meaning that the subtraction of one more strong applicant (myself) would greatly improve your chances of admission. Thank you for considering my offer. I look forward to hearing from interested parties.
