Still on PWL (applied PT only).

From looking through the threads last year, it just seems like they don't really distinguish the process between the PT and FT waitlists. It also doesn't look like there is any rationale to their waitlist admit process since their class is so large.

Aside from the special group, I would think that the PWL and WL designations are meaningless based on if they need a specific need found in a particular application.

Man, that's demoralizing. If they're going to reject me, I wish they'd just hurry up and get it over with already. This slow-bleed bullshit is killing.

Checking in. I applied relatively late in the cycle, went complete 2/21, never had any date changes, and I never got an interview request. My numbers aren't gtown numbers, so I had essentially given up hope until I got a date change on 4/4 followed by a waitlist e-mail within hours. I have no idea what to expect, but as gtown is my dream school, I'm waiting this out for sure.

I haven't received anything since the 4/23 (I think) e-mail everyone got. I'm on the west coast. I have no idea if that affects anything (the timing of e-mails and/or the availability of Andy for group interviews). I'm just keeping my fingers crossed. Oh and I'm on the plain, old waitlist.

I guess I'm a regular TLSer now....he wrote this on April 17, which should give us some insight:

"Checking in, was put on preferred WL in Feb, after an alumni interview in early Dec and a "hold" email in late Dec. >75% LSAT, 25% GPA.
Sent LOCI a few weeks ago and planning on riding this out through summer."

Correct. It sounds like they will do a few more regional group interviews this month.

Dude chill. Yes, the deadline was the 1st, but they have hundreds of files to deal with, this takes time. That's why the email told us we'd here at the end of this week/beginning of next week.

I don't think so. I can't say for sure but the email they sent last week made it seem like they will be conducting more of these in the next couple of weeks. But that's just speculation, and is likely based more on the availability of admissions officers to travel around the country than anything else.

FWIW, I thought the group interview was completely bizarre.

We were told that we'd be getting "more information" in the next 2-3 weeks. Not necessarily a yes or no decision, but at the very least a status update this month.

I received an e-mail from Dean Cornblatt this morning saying he enjoyed meeting me etc. He also told us in the interview that we should expect to hear from them this week.
