Yes. You will have to write a letter for an appeal regarding your scholarship award. They look over the appeals in very early March.
Ah just saw this so sent in an appeal. Have you already successfully negotiated up or are waiting too?

Just got the status checker notification of admission, now waiting on $$ for the next few days. Both of my parents went to Seton Hall Law, as did my dad's sister, so i hope that the money is decent because this is one of my top choices.

I was wondering what you've found the atmosphere to be like at SHU when it comes to students commuting. Is this rampant or do most kids live close to the school? Those that do...what are the accommodations? Student housing supplied by the university, apartment buildings, houses, something else? If I attend I will probably end up commuting but I don't want to put myself at a disadvantage when it comes to socializing/networking/study sessioning/etc. Thoughts?

I received a mailing today signaling an increase of $10,000 per year to my scholarship award. It is possible.

Do you mind if I ask what your original scholarship was/ if you mind PM your numbers. When did you send in your appeal? Thank you!!

Your best bet to getting this question answered is to head over to the Choosing a Law School forum and following the instructions there. We need a lot more information before we can really help you make a decision. There are also a lot more people on that forum than there are reading this thread.

If you're negotiating do you already have a scholarship? I think most people get their package in their acceptance, I did. I emailed an appeal with copies of higher offers a week ago and they didn't respond that they even got it soooo idk. Hopefully something comes through or they at least let me know it's a no by March 28th...

Yes, I was only given $7,500 a year. While people with my numbers have received much higher merit based scholarships. I emailed Gisele Joachim and she responded saying that I'll hear back on around March 28th. Also, I was talking about financial aid package such as loan and need based aid.

Yes, Gisele is who I emailed too. I emailed her with an attached appeal letter around February 15th and she let me know of my increase on March 3.

Got my packet today, $25,000 for the first year with the ability to renew it for the second and third as long as I stay above a 2.8 cumulative GPA or remain within the top 75% of the class. Now just to wait for Rutgers so I can negotiate for more

What is everyones predictions for the new 2015 Rankings coming out next week. Up or down for Seton?
