We have the same numbers. Any WE/strong softs? I'm starting to get nervous. Another dude with similar numbers got WL'd too. This could also just be Fordham's admissions style... they might be WL everyone without stellar numbers.adbuckley wrote:Waitlisted via status checker. 164/3.4 - complete 10/27

Those are my numbers too. I have great recs, great softs, and strong ties to the New York community. Not all hope is lost....The Dark Kite wrote:We have the same numbers. Any WE/strong softs? Re: Fordham c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
I think it is there style to be honest, last year they did the same everyone with a 165 and under was waitlisted and slowly but surely they were let in. Unless Fordham got its hand on a bunch of scholly money, I wouldnt be surprised if the same thing happened this year. I mean there median is 163 (which is a substantial drop from 3-4 years ago), they may just be optimistic about this years applicants. The Dark Kite wrote:We have the same numbers. Any WE/strong softs? Can't imagine why they would be. Something tells me the most recent double-digit drop in apps isn't comprised of a majority of 170-180 "winners" (so to speak).fratstar1 wrote:I think it is there style to be honest, last year they did the same everyone with a 165 and under was waitlisted and slowly but surely they were let in. Re: Fordham c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
I was in with their first round of acceptances & am below their LSAT 25. Above gpa 75, but I believe they have a holistic view of reading apps. As far as scholarships, if I'm remembering correctly, in their snail mail it says they only give need-based and you have to fill out forms that way.

Pretty much the same - great recs, strong softs, and 3 years work exp. out of school. Looks like a numbers game.

Denied. No email or anything telling me to check status checker. No letter. Lucky I thought enoughh to check the checker. 2nd time applying to Fordham. Fordham is tough. No worries though because I had better luck at the higher ranked W&L....things always work out for the best
