Apply.

Cornell .... ever heard of it?

Seriously though, I'm having a great time here so far, so I'd encourage anyone to apply (or reapply in your case). You never know what could happen.
Haha.. that's awesome.. Really hoping Oct LSAT gives me a chance

I also think Cornell is a great place to go to law school, and it should be at the top of anyone's list. I thought that the location would be a drawback at first, but Ithaca is a nice place to spend 3 years.

An international man of mystery, obviously.
Eta: just kidding. I am surprised we have not yet met, Lavitz.

This is one of the drawbacks with Cornell admissions. It is not as quick/update you as much as other T14s.

Maybe we have and don't know it? Or does this mean you know who I am and we haven't met?

I've met a number of 2Ls but so far there's only one I know is a TLSer.

I have no idea who you are and I don't think we have met. This can change though.

Sorry to hijack the thread. Best of luck all. Hope to be meeting some of you next year.

Fun fact: I was accepted one year ago today. Hopefully they'll decide to release some early decisions this year too.

I submitted days ago but Cornell hasn't requested my file. Something up?

Its probably an issue with LSAC. The file status on LSAC should change to "completed" within a matter of hours. Same thing happened to me with Duke, and the guy at LSAC said it was because their systems were down the day I submitted. Call them ASAP, he fixed the issue for me within a couple minutes.

I wonder if I'm dealing with the same thing. I submitted to Cornell Monday afternoon, but it still only says "transmitted" on LSAC. I'll give them a call tomorrow and let you guys know if that's the issue.

Mine went from transmitted to LSAC complete today, and it says that the LSAC report was requested today. If I don't get acknowledgement from Cornell by Friday, I'll give LSAC a call to make sure everything is okay.
