Apply.
Cornell .... ever heard of it?
Seriously though, I'm having a great time here so far, so I'd encourage anyone to apply (or reapply in your case). You never know what could happen.

I also think Cornell is a great place to go to law school, and it should be at the top of anyone's list. I thought that the location would be a drawback at first, but Ithaca is a nice place to spend 3 years.Lavitz wrote:Seriously though, I'm having a great time here so far, so I'd encourage anyone to apply (or reapply in your case). Lavitz/Imnoscar, could you swing by admissions to throw $$ and an acceptance at deputydog and I'll withdraw all apps and submit my seat deposit today? Thanks.
Real reason I came here, I have t heard anything since I got my status checker and in not looking forward to the few months wait.

This is one of the drawbacks with Cornell admissions. It is not as quick/update you as much as other T14s.deputydog wrote:Lavitz/Imnoscar, could you swing by admissions to throw $$ and an acceptance at deputydog and I'll withdraw all apps and submit my seat deposit today? Thanks.

Maybe we have and don't know it? Or does this mean you know who I am and we haven't met?ImNoScar wrote:I am surprised we have not yet met, Lavitz.
I've met a number of 2Ls but so far there's only one I know is a TLSer.
I haven't been there since I got here. Rooting for you though.deputydog wrote:Lavitz/Imnoscar, could you swing by admissions to throw $$ and an acceptance at deputydog and I'll withdraw all apps and submit my seat deposit today? Thanks.

Fun fact: I was accepted one year ago today. Hopefully they'll decide to release some early decisions this year too.

Re: Cornell c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
Its probably an issue with LSAC. The file status on LSAC should change to "completed" within a matter of hours. Same thing happened to me with Duke, and the guy at LSAC said it was because their systems were down the day I submitted. Call them ASAP, he fixed the issue for me within a couple minutes.

I wonder if I'm dealing with the same thing. I submitted to Cornell Monday afternoon, but it still only says "transmitted" on LSAC. I'll give them a call tomorrow and let you guys know if that's the issue.

Mine went from transmitted to LSAC complete today, and it says that the LSAC report was requested today. If I don't get acknowledgement from Cornell by Friday, I'll give LSAC a call to make sure everything is okay.
