FIVE waitlists!

I wonder how others are planning on riding out the waitlists. Does it seem insane to not put down a deposit anywhere, given the likelihood of massive waitlist movement this cycle? I'm just not at all thrilled with any of the schools that have accepted me. Furthermore, I'm terrified that I'll get off one waitlist, put a deposit, and then get off the waitlist at my top choice school. I really don't know what to do and am curious as to what others are doing. Please share! PM me if anything!

Waitlisted at: UCLA, UVA, Michigan, Penn, Duke & Columbia. That's 6! And out of 12 applications. I feel this competition should run based on ratios.

I mean I don't have nearly as impressive an amount as some of you but I think I have one of the weirder sets of WLs:

-WUSTL
-Wake Forest
-Loyola (Los Angeles)
-Northeastern

still waiting on Hastings. applied to 11 total.

kind of excited to report that I've been waitlisted at Hastings and Minnesota.

Never been waitlisted for any schools ever before, so this is kind of exciting, lol. I expect a few more waitlists in the next few weeks.

Weak numbers, strong softs.

3. Arizona
4. Iowa
5. Indiana
6. Wake Forest
7. GW
8. W&M

11. UC Hastings
12. Wisconsin

I withdrew from most of them but I'd like a fancy belt.

I know it's impossible to predict the chances of getting off of a wait list, but is it unreasonable to assume that I have a decent chance of eventually getting into at least one out of the 9 schools that I'm waiting on? I just worry that when it comes to wait lists, schools might be seeking out particular numbers to keep up medians as opposed to reviewing all applications again in their entirety, which could work to my disadvantage. (Sorry, I know this is all speculative and so my question is probably futile but this process has been and looks like it will continue to be a long one for me, so I figured some insight might get me to relax a little and more accurately assess my chances)
Judging by your stats, yes it is unreasonable to assume you will get in to any of those schools. But if you go up 2 points in June and apply in September you will almost definitely get into 1 or more
