Received a very nice phone call from Assistant Dean of Admissions Greg Canada congratulating me on my acceptance and telling me he enjoyed my personal statement. Felt pretty good and it was a nice touch.

Just checking in.. anyone else heard anything?
Do we think Hastings will be releasing decisions tomorrow since they did last Friday?

I'm still at the general admissions step. I'll wait 10 weeks for a packet to come, I just want to know if I'm in! haha, thanks though.

Dean Wu has been named the #1 most influential dean for law schools by National Jurist. While cutting class sizes and raising tuition on the backs of currently enrolled students has been controversial, it is nice to see that Hastings' move to change has been seen very favorably by at least one publication.

No idea what is going on. Was expecting to hear by now!!

Seems like snail mail is what you can expect for a decision. When did you apply? It looks like applying early was a big plus.

I'm in the same boat! Most of the other schools have been in touch (except the very top tier). Sadly this is only convincing me that Hastings doesn't value applying early and having above avg scores.

yea my numbers are at the lower end of the stick so if getting in means they need a little while to review my app- then take your time hastings haha

Check your spam boxes. Found an email there this morning from the alumni association congratulating me on my acceptance and inviting me to a welcome reception. The way it was written implied that I already knew of my acceptance. Still no flat envelope, call or official acceptance email. Lol Hastings....gmail thinks its spam but ill take it

Yeah. I got the email inviting me to the alumni reception; my admittance came snail mail about a week ago.

the only positive result of this checking process is it has forced me to become social with my neighbors, as i have begun to actually check my mail on a regular (slightly obsessive) basis

I was told that the Welcome packet went out last Friday. I live close by, but I haven't receive it yet. Has any EA receive it yet?
