applied early january and went complete in the first week. didn't have any updates on status checker

This is the last school I'm waiting to hear from...and I've been complete since November. Sigh. I hope the decisions today mean more are on the way!

Yikes. Hang in there. It seems like this has been a crazy cycle for a lot of people and a lot of schools.

I actually got in here about a month ago, and just visited last week. I wasn't really feeling it on the visit but today out of the blue one of the professors from UNC called me to talk about my interests in law and what UNC could offer me. I thought that was a really, really nice personal touch. Definitely won UNC another look from me. I just found it such a nice personal touch that they chose to have the professors call admitted students.

Right there with you! If I get in, it's a top choice too, so I hold out hope. Fingers crossed for more decisions!

LSN only shows 1 scholarship offer so far. Likely a named scholarship. Not time to panic yet, I think almost all of us still have some waiting to do.

I was accepted last week! My file was complete 11/19, went under review last Tuesday, and I received an email Wednesday afternoon. I have a 159 LSAT score and 3.54 GPA. It's not all about the numbers for UNC! Good luck to everyone still waiting!

On another note, any girls looking for a roommate? I went to UNC for undergrad, so I am familiar with the area. Message me if you are interested!

We have similar LSAT scores and I was worried that my score was an auto-dinger.

Since everyone who is going to avoid either the waitlist or a denial is supposed to have a decision by April 1st, one should imagine we'll be seeing several more of us go under review in the next couple of weeks, no?

(Yes, the wait is killing me. I really want to end up in Chapel Hill.)

Because I need time for the process of scholarship negotiation, and one of my best offers requires a response by April 1, I will be sending in a request for scholarship and a list of my other offers tomorrow. UNC is at the tippy top of my list, but they can't be stingy if they want me to attend.
