Received packet today after Monday's acceptance email (but I live just across the Bay so I'm assuming others will get their packets in the next few days). 20.5k scholarship, which I'm assuming from earlier posts and their website is per year, but there's nothing that specifically mentions it in the letter. I'm pretty pleasantly surprised, as they usually don't seem to give so much love to the low GPA-types in the past. Hopefully that bodes well for us all!

Maybe I'm just in another batch? :( I got my acceptance letter around 11/21.
Admitted 11/16 as well and still haven't received financial aid letter.

I sent an email to the admissions office about this today. I will disseminate the information here after I hear back.

Top quarter is pretty steep! They put a lot of the scholarship recipients in the same sections too, which makes it even harder. Try to negotiate out of that if you can!

I've heard it's difficult to negotiate at SCU, and that you have to "appeal" it for review. I wonder when is the earliest that I can do this... :) Still need to have other scholarships in hand before I do so though.

"Emery Merit scholarships may be renewed if the academic conditions in the original scholarship letter are met."

My acceptance letter had the scholarship amount with no 'conditions' stated. Am I supposed to receive another letter with conditions or does it mean I have no conditions?

It could be a while. I've been in committee since December and nothing has changed since then.
