Haha thanks! I had a conversation with my buddy the other day along those lines. It went something like "We all know they're going to let me in, so why put it off?" The real determining factor is going to be the scholarship offer.gaud wrote:They should have admitted you a long time ago.yodamiked wrote:Admitted today! Notice came through email and status checker! If not, considering the other schools you've been admitted to, don't go to ASU.

No, I'm from Canada. ASU has there North American JD program thing which interests me (although I understand it isn't quite as good as they make it out to be). Basically ASU would have to offer me a pretty hefty scholarship before it would be worth it. We'll see. Plus, hockey tickets in Phoenix are a lot cheaper than they are up here!gaud wrote:Are you local?yodamiked wrote:Haha thanks! I had a conversation with my buddy the other day along those lines. Anyone else still in review?
I was held from Early Decision fro RD pool on 1/31 but have seen new accept / rejects on LSN and here since then. My last update was the middle of January so I'm starting to bounce between thinking "soft reject" or my file was lost behind a cabinet when I sent my LOCI.
Also does anyone have an idea about the latest they could get back to you?

Honestly ASU is no longer an option for me. Even if I hear within the next week that still doesn't leave enough time to visit or negotiate scholarships before some scholarship and deposit deadlines. I have said it before on here, but I really don't understand how it is advantageous for ASU to wait so long to send out so many of the RD decisions.

I feel like everyone is going to have decided on other schools by the time they make their decisions.

I am in the same boat as you; held on 1/31 for RD and no word yet. I've been checking here and LSN as well to watch for new decisions to be sent out. It's a bummer, I wish there was a deadline to hear back from them like there was for ED.tow13 wrote:Anyone else still in review?

I've been in Review since 1/30. I just missed the ED (app in after 11/15 but still November). Makes planning way more difficult.

Re: ASU c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
I applied on 2/1 (pending Feb LSAT score), and my application just went to 'complete' status on 3/11. In the email I received on 3/11, it said they are hoping to have all decisions made by end of April. Did anyone else receive this? Based on previous posts, I assume this is way off and I am anticipating a decision in the summer. Maybe apps were down this year and April is realistic?!

End of April? Well that's after other deposits...awesome. And I didn't receive any estimate and am beginning to think they'll let me know next December.

If it's going to be that late, do they at least include scholarship amounts with admit letters? Also, is ASU known for being generous with money?tow13 wrote:End of April? Re: ASU c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
The exact verbiage was:
"The decision process will continue through the spring, and we will release decisions as they are made throughout that time. We anticipate that all applications completed in a timely fashion will have decisions by the end of April."
So, hopefully before end of April, but based on the C/O 2015 forum, it looks like several people got decisions throughout summer. Hopefully that this is not the case for this year.

Does anyone know if ASU is generally open to negotiating scholarships?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
