According to lsn, you don't stand a great chance of getting in http://mylsn.info/dispresults.php Personally, I think that if you 1)have incredible softs 2)went to HYPS or 3) had a very hard major, then you stand a decent chance. If not, then you might want to reconsider

Then again, I might just apply for the heck of it. With falling medians, who knows what happens?

This gives you a good idea of the sent, complete, and decision dates. I'd say if you submit mid october the earliest you'd hear back is late november.
Just to add to this, there was definitely a number of people who submitted their apps in the first week of October, went under review on 10/13, and were included in the first batch of KB1s(as they were called this time last year). So if you're submitting now, there's still a chance you'd be considered for the very first wave.

I second this. Still, a non-URM 176/3.62 and a non-URM 177/3.4 got in last year. I know their LSAT scores were a bit higher, but with the apps down further, who knows?

ETA: It really depends on how much that $80 means to you. The odds aren't very good, but I know I'd always be wondering "what if" if I didn't at least try.

I've gotten fee waivers from all but 2 schools so far, so $80 isn't a huge deal right now. Decent but unremarkable softs, non-URM, but screw it! Heck, even applying to Harvard sounds pretty cool!

Haha it may be worth $80 just to be formally told by Harvard that I'm not worth it

Does anyone else show that a second "replacement report" has been sent by LSAC to the school? I called LSAC to make sure it wasn't because of a mistake - like they sent the wrong stuff at first. They said the request came from the school. Go figure...

Huh. I've got "Report Sent" and "Updated Report Sent" on the same day.

Yeah me too actually... And same day also. But you're looking at LSAC Completed. Go check under Report Status - does it show a replacement report being sent? I guess it's normal if we both got it

Me too. Looks like they rearranged the order of my LORs but I can't tell anything else different. Probably just a glitch or some internal file-keeping thing.

I know Harvard only gives need based fee waivers, just wondering how one goes about applying for one, just the generic "please give me a fee waiver email"? or is any extra documentation necessary?

You get it automatically if you have an LSAC fee waiver (same with the vast majority of schools, I believe).

Anybody know how long it's been taking to go from app received to complete (or any other status in between)?

Nobody's has changed yet. Maybe in the next week or two. Also:
Lavitz wrote:Harvard is a little strange in that the status checker traditionally goes straight from "received" to "under review," then they send out "complete" e-mails 1-2 weeks after changing to "under review."

And last year, the people who submitted on 9/15 didn't go UR until 10/13, and got their "complete" e-mails on 10/27.

Submit your application first, check the box "I will use money order or xxx to pay later". Then email the admission office and they will send your the waiver request form via attachment. The form must be MAILED. They don't accept fax or scanned copies.

P.S: For Yale, do the same but you can just scan and email them. For Stanford, you have to be approved of your fee waiver request before you submit the law school application.

Please don't put S in the same category as HYP for undergraduate. It's not.
