She'll email first. Does anyone know: would late October/early November phone calls be only for people who submitted in September? Like if my app goes complete in a week or two, how long should I expect to wait?

This gives you a good idea of the sent, complete, and decision dates. I'd say if you submit mid october the earliest you'd hear back is late november.
Just to add to this, there was definitely a number of people who submitted their apps in the first week of October, went under review on 10/13, and were included in the first batch of KB1s(as they were called this time last year). So if you're submitting now, there's still a chance you'd be considered for the very first wave.

According to lsn, you don't stand a great chance of getting in
http://mylsn.info/dispresults.php Personally, I think that if you 1)have incredible softs 2)went to HYPS or 3) had a very hard major, then you stand a decent chance. If not, then you might want to reconsider
Then again, I might just apply for the heck of it. With falling medians, who knows what happens?
I second this. Still, a non-URM 176/3.62 and a non-URM 177/3.4 got in last year. I know their LSAT scores were a bit higher, but with the apps down further, who knows?
ETA: It really depends on how much that $80 means to you. The odds aren't very good, but I know I'd always be wondering "what if" if I didn't at least try.
