did you get a confirmation of your ed in your email?

my email said: "If you have submitted an application under the Binding Expedited Decision option, we will send you an acknowledgement email to the primary email address in your application. "

but I didn't get an acknowledgement email.

None here either. I'm assuming it'll come tomorrow or so. No rush now that I know I'm complete as of 9/4 (or 9/5, not sure which). In any case, decision should be in by 9/19 at the latest.

Applied RD on Sept. 1 and my status is already "under consideration." A little confused and surprised. Didn't think they would review my file until after the ED decisions. Maybe it just says under consideration and will stay that way for months? Maybe it got mixed up in the ED pile? Well, hopefully they really are reviewing my file already. Would love to receive a decision (preferably acceptance) ASAP!

I just randomly got an e-mail from UVA, which obviously sent my pulse through the roof.

Then I opened it. It's a second status checker e-mail, identical to the one I got yesterday. Apparently adcomms are in the business of trolling now.

Hey Checking in. Was going to send in an ED to UVA but decided not to. It was between UVA and UPenn. None the less I'm excited for the upcoming cycle. I sent my app in 9/05 and received conformation from UVA the next day. Good luck everyone!

Does anyone know how often, if ever, they return ED applications sooner than 15 days? I really want UVA, but I have an interview at NU in a week and a half. Wouldn't mind just converting into a Chicago funfest.

They frequently return decisions before the 15 day mark.

Got the second status checker (I'm assuming its because I changed my temp password to something else since the new email had my new password) and the ED confirmation early this morning. I guess the clock starts today (5 days after submitting =/). Good luck everyone!

I think they just had a glitch. All the schools' status trackers are the same (so far as I've seen), and I've never gotten a duplicate e-mail from any of the others.

Anyway, it's irrelevant. Best of luck to all of you!
