Has Vandy shrunk its WL? Have they rejected people periodically throughout the summer?

I haven't heard of folks being rejected from the WL this year; I think that Vandy has done this in the past, so I'm assuming the only means of reducing the size of the WL has been through folks gaining admission into Vandy/withdrawing from the WL.

Some sort of update would clearly be useful for many of us still waiting, though. I think knowing what's going on wouldn't be too much to ask.

I think there was 1 person ITT who mentioned they had been rejected from the waitlist..

It's strange, looking here it seems that there just hasn't been much movement at all from the waitlist this year.

Just got an email confirming this.

We are unfortunately nearing the end of the admissions cycle and the class is currently full. We may make a small number of offers anytime between now and when classes start on August 13th but most likely not. Regardless, we will not officially close the waitlist and inform remaining applicants until August 15th after the class has arrived.
