I noticed. I'm going to keep it and hope that people get confused. Thanks for the heads up though, hahah.

The professor in today's chat had some difficulty typing...it was a bit strange to be honest....don't these people write papers/articles for a living?

I don't know. Not every generation grew up trying to solicit nudes in online forums and chat rooms.lsatcrazy wrote:The professor in today's chat had some difficulty typing...it was a bit strange to be honest....don't these people write papers/articles for a living?

Yeah, going to have to agree with this. There were plenty of professors at my UG that struggled with typing too (professors who wrote papers and articles for a living).TemporarySaint wrote:I don't know. Professor Ginsburg is amazing. He's probably just not used to typing at the speed our generation is used to for chats

1) Hopefully they don't make us wait until the end of the week. 2) Hopefully they send them pretty much all at once so it'll take away some anxiety. I feel like I'm always in the latter group to hear back

Heart skipped a beat when I saw an email from Uchi pop up... it was only the admitted students chat reminder. Scholarship watch 2012 continues.

I guess I posted my last message in the wrong thread, but I checked and they sent the scholarship emails on a Friday last year (2/18) - although I don't think they got any advance warning, like we have.

Let's start an admitted students chat drinking game.
- drink once when someone asks about thriving at Chicago as a liberal
- drink once when someone asks about lawl and economics, twice if someone mentions Coase and Posner
- finish (yes) your drink whenever anyone mentions rigor
- drink once whenever there's an obvious planted question ("how do you maintain such a high standard of excellence in your curriculum?")

Sadly not many drinks this time, but next week's chat is with Dean Schill, so y'all best prepare yourselves for that one. The chat transcript is posted on the admitted students website.

If clerkships and/or litigation interest you, it actually wasn't half bad.

Just bumping this to freak everyone out.
After being disappointed with Columbia this weekend, I would love to get some money from Chi this week and make this decision much easier...

Hahahaha, I'll participate if Chicago moves their chat times to something later than 2pm, I think I'd feel a little bit guilty otherwisesoj wrote:Let's start an admitted students chat drinking game.
