Congrats. I also came home to a full tuition scholarship plus books. Have to stay in the top 1/3 of the class. First acceptance of the cycle and I was very happy with it.
Me too, and on the same timeline--applied 1/9, complete 1/11, decision mailed 1/12.

Not really happy about the top 1/3 stip, but I'm not going to pester them about it yet; I have 15 more decisions to wait for, all from higher-ranked schools but none as close to home.

I'll be there, though I don't get a free trip since I live literally 5 minutes away. I suppose I could ask for my $2 in mileage. :D

Late app, sent in today.. I am sitting at work in Ohio amongst the "white death", daydreaming about the prospects of going to school in California...

Those who are going to Legal Scholars Day on the 3rd, I guess some of you will be sitting in one of my classes. Make sure you bring me some food.

I just got in with free books and $10,000 offer. Woohoo! Not crazy about the top 1/3 condition and I'm still waiting to hear back from other schools. I'm going to the Legal Scholars Day on Feb. 3, though!

Top 1/3. Seems thats the stipulation for every scholarship they have.

Speaking of that, does anyone know if McGeorge stacks their sections?

Just went "Decision Rendered". Sent 1/22. Complete 1/25. Decision 1/26. When should I expect the letter?

I went DR 1/12 and got the packet 1/17. LSN in profile.

Edit: I also live in MA, so if you're closer to Sacramento you might get it sooner.

Whats McGeorge's reputation like in Sacramento? Any 1/2/3L's have feedback regarding placement/summer jobs?

App rec'd 1/24
Complete 1/25
Under review 1/26
Decision rendered 1/27

Now why can't all schools be this productive? May be attending if I am accepted, and if there is good scholly money!

Did you find out about scholly money in your acceptance packet, or did it come after?

Thanks!

So who's going to Legal Scholars Day this Friday? And what are you guys wearing... the admissions lady said business causal so I'm assuming a dress shirt and khakis right?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
