I'll take "CONGRATULATIONS" or "Unfortunately" in the subject header.... preferably the former.tjddk wrote:Y.E.S.KibblesnBitts wrote:Anyone else get an email that caused a mini-heart attack?
Wow, it should be illegal for schools to email/contact you after you've submitted applications with anything other than a "CONGRATULATIONS!"

The worst part about that email is that good news is almost always follows something obvious like "CONGRATS" or "Welcome!" in the subject line. "Message from Director of Admissions, University of Washington School of Law" made me think, "NOOOO IT'S TOO SOON TO START GETTING THESE"KibblesnBitts wrote:I'll take "CONGRATULATIONS" or "Unfortunately" in the subject header.... preferably the former.tjddk wrote:Y.E.S.KibblesnBitts wrote:Anyone else get an email that caused a mini-heart attack?

What is this email? The only thing I've seen in the last hour from Washington is a reminder to renew my XBox Live subscription...tjddk wrote:Y.E.S.KibblesnBitts wrote:Anyone else get an email that caused a mini-heart attack?

That said, I applied to several schools on a wing and a prayer. Washington, above all the rest, will be the one I am most sad about should rejection come.

Thanks!tjddk wrote:It looked to be addressed to people they've met either through a visit, law fair, etc. and encouraging them to apply, if they haven't done so already. Also mentioned the new rolling admissions process this year, but that it could take several weeks. I visited in October and had left my email address.

Yep got this email and was somewhat disappointed it wasn't a decision, lol.tjddk wrote:It looked to be addressed to people they've met either through a visit, law fair, etc. and encouraging them to apply, if they haven't done so already. Is it strange that only one person on TLS is reporting getting accepted, and no one on LSN is reporting a decision?tennisking88 wrote:Wait so were ppl admitted or what

I wouldn't worry about it. TLS is extremely east-coast centric for whatever reason. The other thing is that there are tons of folks who read TLS but never post.Baba Booey wrote:

What's weird is that I updated my LSN profile but it doesn't seem to appear anywhere. Is that because I haven't listed my LSAT and GPA? Or is there something I need to do? I mean I know it won't be on the graph without any numbers, but I should be on the applicants list.Baba Booey wrote:Is it strange that only one person on TLS is reporting getting accepted, and no one on LSN is reporting a decision?tennisking88 wrote:Wait so were ppl admitted or what

Did you verify your account? For the longest time I hadn't and then I realized that was the issue.Lilberkie wrote:What's weird is that I updated my LSN profile but it doesn't seem to appear anywhere. When did you submit your app if you don't mind me asking? I submitted mine the day after LSAT scores were released, and my last update was on November 17.

They also say on the status checker page that decisions are emailed not sent via snail mail, so I would wait by the inbox!

Submitted 10/4, complete 10/20. Stats are in my profile. I also did my undergrad at UW.skaterboyroland wrote:When did you submit your app if you don't mind me asking? I submitted mine the day after LSAT scores were released, and my last update was on November 17.
I saw that as well, but I highly doubt that they are going to be sending me any emails at 8:30 at night. I think only Duke does that.NYDCKid2014 wrote:They also say on the status checker page that decisions are emailed not sent via snail mail, so I would wait by the inbox!

Mine too. I'm convinced the schools I applied to are trying to make me crazy. So many people seeing movement... Me? Not so much...skirkland wrote:My status update is still at 11/17 as well. Same here. This 11/17 date is driving me crazy. They just need to hurry. Then again, I applied Nov. 15 so I guess it hasn't been that long- but it definitely feels that way.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
