I might go to W&L just because of how effecient their admissions office is!

Agreed. I went to UG at a school that literally had a name for every time the school screwed you over. It was invoked frequently!

EDIT: If any W&L admins happen to visit this forum as many other admission officers do, seriously, very good job on keeping us updated and for getting out very quick decisions. It is extremely impressive in light of many other schools taking over 3 months sometimes!

Congrats to everyone admitted today! I think I submitted just a bit too late to get in on this week's batch, does anyone know if the next one will be next week or after Thanksgiving?

WL with a 161/3.72.

It was one of many I sent off because I had a fee waiver. I fully expected it to be flat-out denied because I'm below their 25th, kind of shocked I even got the WL.

Yeah I was pretty sure, but I was starting to wonder about my application after continually not hearing anything from W&M.

Wooooooo first acceptance, I had a fear that I would get rejected from everywhere

Pretty excited / personal goal for me that I'm at least on the right track of turning around, in 2008 I was an idiotic freshman who was in danger of being kicked out due to getting a 0.00 in a semester

Just got the email saying I more than likely will receive a decision by December 2nd. Went complete on 11/9, so it seems I missed the first waves by a day or two. Oh well, I'm still going to check my status constantly just in case they go quicker than anticipated.

If they do, they'll send you an email to notify you of the updated date. W&L is really on top of their game this year. For example, I got an email telling me to expect a decision tomorrow. 4 or 5 days ago, I got an email notifying me they were moving quicker than anticipated, and that I'd get a decision today. Earlier today, I got an email telling me the decision would be out by 12:30 EST.

This, no real reason to check your status (even though I did as well)... W&L will basically do it for you through e-mail

The 161 was a retake.

I've thought about taking a third time, but I REALLY don't have the time or desire to do that again. Plus it would either mean taking in 3 weeks (no prep time), or waiting another year (bleh).
