For those of you who have gotten an acceptance call.. how long from when your app was complete online did they take to make the decision?

Curious on this myself now, since I got the status checker today and it says I'm complete as of yesterday.

I just got an acceptance phone-call from UT and thought I'd share my dates for those who are anxiously waiting for a response.

Submitted: 10/17/2011
Completed: 10/25/2011
Decision via phone-call: 11/8/2011

My status checker never updated from Completed on 10/25/2011. I am a Texas resident, but I currently don't live there. I'm not going to post my numbers until my cycle is over for the sake of anonymity.

Good luck everyone!

My guess is that the ones with exceptional LSATs and good GPAs are the ones getting quick early responses. If I'm wrong.. let me know.

did anyone else send their paper application in with a fee waiver request? I'm trying to gauge when I should email them to see if they've received my application.

I wouldn't call my numbers "exceptional," but I'm above both medians and above one 75th percentile. :?

Hey I need some opinions... I applied to UT and submitted everything before Nov 1st, but I chose RD instead of ED at the time b/c i thought ED was binding. I e-mailed admissions a few days ago to ask if I could switch from RD to ED, since I had all of the materials submitted prior to the 1st....however, no one has responded. Should I call admission? Or wait a few more days for an e-mail response. I also received an e-mail acknowledging that they received my application on the 1st, but I have never received a status checker ...thoughts?

Got my scholarship letter sometime over the weekend (wasn't at home to get the mail). Gotta say, the offer was kinda insulting. If it isn't bumped up, you can bet I won't be there next fall.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
