Re: NYU Waitlist 2011
Congratulations to you both! That's a feat, especially bc there seems to have been no movement off the WL last year. Siamsa414, how are you making your decision? Rankings? Fin. Aid? It must be hard not having the chance to visit the campus and see the school for yourself...Siamsa414 wrote:Congrats! I doubt that you have to withdraw, although I imagine the forms will have more info. You don't have to withdraw when accepting other offers, after all.czelede wrote:Also in via voicemail!
Does anyone know if accepting the WL offer means we have to withdraw from other waitlists?
Thanks! I have no idea. I am stunned. I've never even been to NYC. I'll have to think long and hard before my June 10 deadline.cornhusker wrote:HOORAY! and Congrats! Will you go?

Re: NYU Waitlist 2011
Thanks! I'm mostly basing my choice off rankings and financial aid. I had been planning to attend GULC at sticker, so I've inquired to see if there's any possibility of merit aid there. If not, then I'm headed for NYU.Phoenix7 wrote:Congratulations to you both! That's a feat, especially bc there seems to have been no movement off the WL last year. Good luck with your decision! Needless to say, both are amazing schools.Siamsa414 wrote:Thanks! I'm mostly basing my choice off rankings and financial aid. Are any of you guys also riding WL/reserve at the two C's of CCN? Feel like I'm seeing a lot of familiar faces in these limbo threads.

Someone just reported getting in by email late last week in the "In off the Waitlist" thread.
Some days I feel like the only one left on this waitlist.

Re: NYU Waitlist 2011
Well, I had gotten in off the wait list. But due to some surprising job news I'm not going to law school just yet (if at all). So I think that should be a spot open, if it's not already taken. (Time line for my withdrawal is in the past week or so to help you guys out and to maintain some anonymity). Later TLS and good luck guys.

Over on the Penn WL thread, someone says that his friend was admitted to NYU off the WL recently.

Cycle's probably over, barring a last minute withdraw. Time to buck up and make the best of the schools we did get into.

Re: NYU Waitlist 2011
? Is that a joke? I didn't mean to offend anyone. Assumed that most of us on the waitlist at NYU applied to at least a few more schools and had the numbers to get into at least one of them. NYU waitlist numbers should give you a at least a good shot at the T25, if not the lower T14. Apologies if incorrect.descartesb4thehorse wrote:Egregious actually-got-into-a-law-school-this-year trolling.wiseguy33 wrote:Cycle's probably over, barring a last minute withdraw.
