uuber special priority super awesome blah blah grand exalted queen of waitlist here as well. Got the email this morning too. Responded within like two minutes. LOOK HOW EAGER I AM, CORNBLATT! ADMIT MEEEEEEE.

For what its worth since being waitlisted I've sent LOCI and a couple email updates to my contact (Sophia Sim).

i sent it before i got waitlisted, back in early february. it was a LOCI/switch to ED sort of thing, and then i got waitlisted on the 18th.

Does anyone know what chance we have to get off from the preferred waitlist? I heard that GULC waitlists a couple of hundred people each year....

SPWL here, and I also got the email. I sent a loci on Thursday, and I still responded briefly to the email saying that I would attend if accepted. I guess I'm pretty eager...

It's terrible, but I'm hoping it gets some people to withdraw from the SPWL.

Are you sure it didn't go to spam or something? I highly doubt if you were waitlisted that they would just take you off that particular list.

checked spam, trash, etc. i assume it came from the same address as all the others? admis@law.georgetown.edu?

it's lawcenterwaitlist@law.georgetown.edu. did you get that? my initial PWL email came from the admis address, too.

the lawwaitlist one was the one you're supposed to respond to to remain on it. Hope you did that...

ETA: maybe the lawcenterwaitlist one is for WL and PWL and lawwaitlist is for SPWL?

Withdrew when i got this email, not sure/dont care why they waitlisted me. But i did ask to be put on it as it was my 1st response from a ~~T14~~ T15

I have the same question.. the schools I would be depositing at are ranked 25-30, so should I be mentioning that? The first deadline is April 15th

I got the email this morning, and I did mention specific schools, both higher and lower, but then said I would wait to deposit to hear from them.

nope. it said to email them if i wanted off the list.

Flips' question still remains. Did you email them to make sure you remained on the WL? This was required after the notification email.

I got the initial one from the Admis site. This e-mail told me that I am very special, but not special enough.

Then, today, I received an e-mail the waitlist account.

Additionally, my contact has the waitlist account as their e-mail.

Finally, does anyone know the answer to my questions?

How much time after an offer from the WL you have to in order to respond, and if you respond positively to their offer, does that mean that you have to withdraw from other WL's.
