Anyone else paying a seat deposit this week?
Still waiting to hear from all of my other schools, but I don't expect to get anything back this week. (That would just work too well/easily!)

Heard back from my last school Saturday. Surprised and thankful for the timing, lol.

Did you pay online? If so, did it go through immediately or is there a turn around period? I'm curious if I can wait a couple more days (closer to payday - ugh.)

Is anyone else having questions about LoyNO due to their lack of correspondence?
I applied very late (3/15, last day), did not hear a peep out of LoyNO - that is to say I had no notification of application submission, no status login, no notification of application status - until 3/25 when I got my login for the status checker. When I checked it, I was admitted on 3/21. I have still not received any level of correspondence from them.

No offense, but I think you kind of answered your own question. You submitted on the last day applications were accepted and despite it being the AdComm's busiest time, you heard from them and were admitted ten days later. I'd be grateful for the fast turnaround and realize that applying that late in the cycle means your correspondence is going to be on the bottom of their pile, which they'll get to after they settle up with the Oct-Feb applicants.
Congrats on the admit, though.

I agree.....you sent in your application really late so I think they responded to you pretty fast.

I hadn't checked my status checker for them lately, but apparently I got in last Wednesday. I don't think I'll be going there though, but I will wait until I get the offical letter and scholarship offer to know for sure.

It seems odd that I would get some amount yet unknown scholarship to LSU and yet Loyno wants me to pay sticker. Even MS College in Jackson offered a 2/3 scholarship with a top 50% stipulation.
I’ll drop admissions a line in another week or two and let them know that unless Loyno can offer something to make the tuition comparable to instate + partial scholarship at LSU then I will be looking for an apartment in Baton Rouge.
Good luck to anyone still waiting.
Yeah, I feel you on this one. If they can't come close to making tuition comparable to in-state + scholarship at LSU I don't think I'll consider Loyola either, although I want to work in New Orleans. You should have received some money at Loyola if you have numbers for a scholarship at LSU. That's odd.
Emailed admissions to give them the chance to make a counter offer on 03/02 and haven't heard back other than being told the email was being forwarded to the correct person.
MS College $29,000
LSU $39,000
Loyola $110,000

Notified today via email that my offer of admission has been withdrawn. That answer's that question. Grats to someone on the WL!

They withdrew your admission offer because you asked for additional scholarship consideration? Seems like there must be more to that story.

Withdrew, $ to go around and congrats to someone on the waitlist. I probably would have attended if they made it worth my while. If 88th percentile (according to LSP [flame on]) isn't getting decent money here, who is?

The offer was withdrawn for not having been paid the non-refundable seat deposit, not because I requested reconsideration.

I was invited to participate in the Summer Conditional Program. I did some research online, but my luck seemed to run out in finding substantial information about the program. The letter that I received only mentioned that it is a three hour course... for three weeks... covering three subjects... by three professors. The success rate has varied in the past from 13%-25% acceptance into the law school. The only admit 65 participants in the SCP and range from 9-16 admittances into law school.

I too was invited into this program. Pretty much got the same details via mail. I went ahead and sent my deposit.
I am interested in seeing what courses they will be teaching. Also, I am going to be staying on campus for the three weeks, which I believe costs $300.00 (meals included).
Republican, did you go ahead and accept the invitation?

I'm currently debating between attending Loyola and South Texas (I'm from Houston). Help me decide!
