I have the same numbers as you! I'm in at Georgetown, UCLA, and Northwestern (haven't heard from any other schools yet). I'm not sure what to think about the negativity re scores < 170. I understand that I'm below the 25th percentile for some of my schools, but I feel like my transcript, my extracurricular experience, and my work experience (not to mention the fact that I can write pretty well) might push me over a hump for some of them. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself. Hooray for semi-reverse splitters!annacf wrote:Anyway, just want to contribute. I am 168, 3.87 and I got in ED to GW. I read some negativity on here, people saying you needed 170+ to get it and it affected me. But apparently that is not so. It's great to see so many people with similar stats are getting into such impressive schools!

Hi guys,
I applied in early December and I haven't heard back from any schools, yet? I'm feeling anxious. Should I be worried?

Re: Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
An update from a semi-reverse splitter.
I fit the bill for this thread (LSAT 165-169, GPA 3.80+).
In at:
Iowa ($124k) / Minnesota (haven't received packet) / BU ($75k) / Emory (4 in 15 shot at full-tuition + fees+ stipend)
Illinois ($120k) / WUSTL / UCLA ($75k) / Texas ($ unknown; haven't received packet) / Georgetown / Virginia ($75k)
Michigan (haven't received packet) / NYU (haven't received packet)
Submitted apps in late November.
Regular Decision, non-URM.
Still waiting on 10 more schools.
Good-luck, Semi-Reverse Splitters. My heart goes out to you. =)

I am, too. At least there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Even though it's a train, in my case.

Are any S-R splitters still waiting on Penn? I'm getting anxious and sad. Submitted a LOCI already.

More love reaching the Semi-Reverse Splitters front.
Admitted to:
Iowa, Minnesota, Boston University, Emory*, Illinois, WUSTL, UCLA, Texas, Georgetown, Virginia, Michigan, Penn, NYU, Columbia
Submitted in late November; complete early December, almost uniformly.
Regular Decision. Non-URM.
* = not admitted, just scholarship interview
Good-luck (especially to those in Berkeley and Penn CR)!
