I had a similar experience. It took them two emails to understand my application status at my ED choice. One on January 2nd and another last night, nearly a month later.

Accepted via email 1/28. Went complete on 12/30.

Accepted via email today. I never got an email that my application went complete, I got one saying it was received, but never complete.

Ugh I went complete the same day! Kind of irritated. I mean, I'm not a shoe-in, but I think i have a pretty decent shot with a 3.4/164. Stop making me wait UC!!

You should be a slamdunk admit with those numbers to UC as long as there weren't any weird irregularities in your application (a LOR that screwed you, a PS that says you REALLY want to go to OSU, etc). I'm sure this won't provide much comfort, but I think you're sitting pretty.

So I haven't heard a yes or no from Cincinnati yet, but I've received their e-newsletter email

. I don't know; for some reason it seems odd to me that I would be receiving this, without having an admissions decision. Did anyone else get this?

I got it too and I also do not have a decision. I think they send it out to everyone who applied because I got one in December too...I got all excited thinking it was a decision...nope.

Yeah, if you look to the right of the email, there are links like "Apply to UC law". I think it's just another recruitment piece.

Yeah, me too... but recruitment doesn't end when you've been admitted. I imagine UC is just trying to maintain contact with its students - both admitted and in decision. It's important to keep the candidates "warm" through multiple points of contact like this throughout the long recruitment process.

Under review as of yesterday, it says 4-6 weeks. 3.47/163 hopefully they throw a little cash my way.
