Got an e-mail today offering me a $20,000 non-renewable dean's scholarship! This seals the deal for me, anyone else hear from them today?

Congrats! Did that come with an acceptance today or were you already accepted? When did you go complete? Out of state I am assuming? Crickets here...

Na, most haven't heard yet. I was complete 11/22. There are people who went complete early on as well that didn't hear anything. Did you go under review?ladybug4671 wrote:My application was complete 11/4 yet I still haven't heard anything, should I be worried?

The wait was brutal, I can only imagine if I still hadn't heard. Hopefully the worst of the winter is behind us and UConn will get back on track. Good luck man!

Thanks man! I hope they take me for my GPA for the PT. PT should be slightly easier to get into. Unfortunately, I am below median for LSAT at PT too.

Oh God. I went UR last friday. I have been complete since 11/22. I really hope I do not have to wait another 4+ weeks. That is ridiculous. Based on your situation, I may have to. The storms shouldn't set them back a month though.. More of us should have heard by now.

got the scholarship email today too, but i'm a little confused by it. I only applied to the PT program and the scholarship letter mentioned something about me being a good addition to the class of 2014.

I'm pretty sure it's just a generic letter, I'm in state and the letter contained a few lines about non residents being able to gain instate tuition for 2L.nj05nets wrote:got the scholarship email today too, but i'm a little confused by it. You don't need hope with that LSAT.

Status checker changed to: Decision.
Nothing else. Nada. Nil. Zero.
Does anyone know if they send emails out right away or should the checker change to say accepted/denied? Or are they one of those schools that only send out real letters?
Thanks!

lol +1, your post cracked me up. I think they said in the initial email that "WE ARE GOING PAPERLESS!" so, I bet we'll get an email later today!alexandra47 wrote:Status checker changed to: Decision.

Re: UConn Applicants 2011
Hello,
It says "decision" under my status too, however it doesn't say that I owe any fees, does this mean I'm rejected?
I called them she doesn't know the answer the above question, and they said they'd be sending out emails hopefully later next week their behind due to all the storms.
Does anyone else show any fees due under fees on the app status?

Complete 12/20, in review 1/28.... No decision yet. I would really like to go to uconn if the price is right. For those with decisions, when did you go in review?

Thanks TurkeyDay - definitely realized after I posted that everyone already said they got emails/UConn said they'd email (I was a bit over eager to say the least) - I need to lock it up and just embrace patience.
I believe I went under review 1/11 and submitted sometime in mid-December.

No fees under mine as well. Hope this doesn't mean anything bad either...I would really like UConn as an option.ladybug4671 wrote:Hello,

I think they said out email late in the afternoon before closing. Anyway, you have finally got a decision and will hear by next week probably. What are your numbers? Can you PM me if you don't want to say here? Also, in-state or out of state?

Re: UConn Applicants 2011
I'm going to plead the 5th on my #'s, what I'm hoping will get me in is the fact that I am already in their MSW program (looking to do the dual degree program) and the fact that I want to go into family law and I have over 20 units worth of child development classes, so I guess we shall see.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
