Will the status checker change from complete to "in review" or "decision rendered"? I couldn't tell by the language on the status check site... It just says "You will be notified of a decision in writing via U.S. mail." Thanks!

Re: Loyola LA 2011
I only saw it as "decision rendered", but I was unable to check for a couple days so I might have missed some intermediate status...conroyc wrote:Will the status checker change from complete to "in review" or "decision rendered"? Re: Loyola LA 2011
I check all my status checkers somewhat compulsively...I definitely went straight from complete to the decision rendered 12/21 screen, with no more status checker. (one more week til I'm home and I find out what that decision is)conroyc wrote:Will the status checker change from complete to "in review" or "decision rendered"? Re: Loyola LA 2011
So my status just changed to decision rendered. I am a little nervous because it seems that they just sent out a wave of acceptances. Do you think that this means that they are now sending out a way of rejections/waitlists? also for those accepted was it a big envelop or small?

Re: Loyola LA 2011
I wouldn't be worried because of the previous acceptances. From this thread and LSN there weren't that many acceptances, and this is also a really small (self selected) sample, there are very few applicants listed on LSN.trose28 wrote:So my status just changed to decision rendered. The envelope is big for acceptances, and scholarship info is included.

In with 67K. Hoping to negotiate it up to 87K like the other lucky folks! Complete 11/29ish (too lazy to check now), decision rendered 1/3, and received it in snail mail today.
Good luck to the rest of you blokes!

Re: Loyola LA 2011
Received an email with the subject like "Once again, Congratulations!" Of course my mind went straight to the congratulations and got excited, not realizing it was a reminder congrats.
Then the email began "Dear {First}," (not editing out my name for privacy reasons, that is exactly what it said)
Oh Loyola, you make me feel so special.

I also like how they point you to the New Admits Blog, which still hasn't been updated in the past month... At least the links on that blog are working now.glitter178 wrote:sounds about right.JenDarby wrote:Received an email with the subject like "Once again, Congratulations!" "Dear ......,
We apologize for the glitch in the previous e-mail that failed to include your first name. We have corrected the problem and it will not happen again."
Well, thank you for the apology Loyola, and it better not happen again.

Re: Loyola LA 2011
I got an e-mail that said "once again, congratulations!" so I know I've been accepted. For those who got scholarships: does it say what you've been awarded on the first page?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
