My staus checker still says application complete ( 11/18). For those who have heard a decision allready, when did you go complete, and about how long did it take from the time you submitted it for a decision to be made?

It's been said before, but there really doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to how VLS makes decisions. I've been complete since 11/5 and have never gone under review.

I had to wait for my Dec LSAT score, so no I haven't. I just gotta call for my waiver. I don't think I'm attending here anyway. If I get accepted, I likely won't receive much $$$. Temple and Nova are the same school, so I can't justify paying Nova's tuition when Temple is so low.

I'm in same boat, wasn't considering Nova before I got some $$. I haven't received a larger packet, and the admitted students site isn't updated for the current cycle.

I'm pretty sure I have most everybody beat on this. Complete since 10/4. Application received e-mail 10/5. Yeah, I'm lost behind the filing cabinet where low GPA's go to die.

Last year it took me from 11/23 to something like 2/20 to be accepted, low GPA's ftl.

What are everyone's thought on Nova so far? Is anyone else concerned that the degree won't travel far out of Philly?

I love the building, the campus, the area, and how welcoming the professors are, as well as the focus on entertainment and sports law. However, I am worried about the same thing. I'd like to think so, though. What does everyone else think? Also worried about the fact that I'm worried they lost my application haha

It def has aesthetic value but I feel like if you wanna work in Philly you're better off going to Temple b/c it's cheaper and better networking. In terms of portability there are biglaw firms that do OCI at Nova (check the nalp site to see which ones) but Nova isn't gonna go further than NY, and that would be for small or midsize.

You would need pretty good connections to get into DC. So many schools feed to DC that it's a tough call to pick Nova thinking DC. I went to UG at GW and to be honest I never met or heard of any lawyers who went to Nova and I met a lot of lawyers during that time.
