Status says "decision sent", so I'm guessing it's a deny. Oh well!

For folks getting in - please specify ED/RD and sent date when you post. Thanks.

Why do you assume it's a deny, vs an accept or WL???McNulty wrote:Status says "decision sent", so I'm guessing it's a deny. Oh well!

No associated phone call, or e-mail, I assume?masterthearts wrote:Why do you assume it's a deny, vs an accept or WL???McNulty wrote:Status says "decision sent", so I'm guessing it's a deny. Oh well!
Although I doubt they call for the WL, I'm sure they'd e-mail.

Yep. No call or email. And the people who were called above didn't have a status change yet.Aggiegrad2011 wrote:No associated phone call, or e-mail, I assume?masterthearts wrote:Why do you assume it's a deny, vs an accept or WL???McNulty wrote:Status says "decision sent", so I'm guessing it's a deny. I was ED at 164 and 3.15, out of school for 2+ years, firm experience. So I really did not expect to get in or even waitlisted. But hey, if I am on the WL, that would be great.

Is it just ED people hearing back at this point? I applied really early, but not ED.

I'm ED and I don't receive anything yet. And I guess there are not many of EDer who received the decision..lisjjen wrote:Is it just ED people hearing back at this point? I applied really early, but not ED.

That makes sense. They want to attract people who are technically on the fence about attending (RD apps) by giving them quick responses whereas EDs have to attend so they don't have the incentive to give a quick response.launzi wrote:I'm ED and I don't receive anything yet. Which seems counter-intuitive, since ED is all about an EARLY decision, LOL.ran12 wrote:That makes sense. Waitlisted via email at 0936; status shows "waitlist" and today's date.
ED applicant with a 156/3.7 from a TTT UG, MN Resident, combat veteran, and other strong softs.

Sorry to hear that. I'd suggest writing a Letter of Continued Interest soon.Crimson wrote:Waitlisted via email at 0936; status shows "waitlist" and today's date.

Deny earlier today. Good luck to all, it's an excellent school!
Also thought it was a bit strange that the denial served as a fee waiver for a transfer application. Do all schools do that? Odd.

Any ideas when RD decisions will start to be sent out? Or if they've started already? I've been in review since 11/19, and am above their LSAT 75th...

Of the people who have their "in review" date changed to 12/3: Did you get the acceptance glitch on the status checker a week or so ago?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
