I looked at the 2011-2012 Financial Aid Form and pulled this directly from it:

• By March 15, complete this Howard University School of Law 2011-2012 Financial Aid Application to be considered for a need-based grant and return it to the Law School’s Financial Aid Office. Newly admitted students to the 2011-2012 academic year
should submit this application immediately after being admitted, only.

So, for us 0Ls, this does NOT need to be submitted until after you are admitted, emphasized by the ominous, and final, "only."

i guess thats helpful if you're admitted after march 15, i got accepted in january so it still worried me. . . .

Got this email from financial aid a few days ago...

"This e-mail is to notify you of the status of your 2011-2012 financial aid award(s). Students who have completed The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will receive a notice of their award (or requirements necessary to prepare an award) via e-mail and BisonWeb within the next 2 – 3 weeks. Once awarded, you will be able to view your financial aid award package online via BisonWeb. If this will be your first time using the financial aid menu in BisonWeb, please be sure to review the ‘Financial Aid Step-by-Step Guide’ available on the webpage.
You will also be receiving the University’s 2011-2012 Tuition and Fee Schedule from the University’s Board of Trustees in the coming weeks. This schedule will note any changes to tuition rates, fees, meals and on-campus housing. This information will also be posted online for you to view."


They also gave me my student ID # which I used to log on to Bison Web however, I guess I'll have to wait those 2-3 weeks for anything to be posted.
