But at least it's pretty predictable, i.e. not the horror that is the Michigan thread. I'd rather be able to predict within a day or two when I'll hear back.thecilent wrote:We have such a long wait.eskimo wrote:For those who haven't seen it, dulcatis made a nice google spreadsheet to look at when we'll hear back!

TBF, correcting someone's grammar on an internet forum has about 0% chance of a positive outcome.thecilent wrote:I was JUST thinking that for the NYU thread. Dude gots mad at me
PS. Complete at Chicago. Looking forward to a decision in March.

I wasn't correcting anything. I was (jokingly) pointing out irony. TBF, I was expecting a "lol" or similar response from the dude. All good, though.Hannibal wrote:TBF, correcting someone's grammar on an internet forum has about 0% chance of a positive outcome.thecilent wrote:I was JUST thinking that for the NYU thread. I find myself trying to convince myself of just that everyday, and yet somehow I still end up on this board...weird.tkgrrett wrote:I think ive lost interest in the law school app process somewhat. Decisions coming to far between to keep my interest.

Then you will get maybe 5 a week in Dec. I can relate though, I barely have enough desire to check status checkers after 6-8 weeks.tkgrrett wrote:I think ive lost interest in the law school app process somewhat. Decisions coming to far between to keep my interest.

Add me to the under review 11/15 crowd. I submitted early October. Does anyone else get super excited/nervous when they see they're under review at reach schools?

Under review 11/15, submitted on the 9th.
Just finished my last app this evening. Gonna go around and throw my hat in the different rings
Glad Chicago is at least something I can put down in a calendar, although February seems an awful long wait!

I submitted my app in late October and have yet to hear anything -- should I give the admissions office a call?

Re: UChicago 2011
Yah, call or shoot them an email. I submitted late Oct. but didn't see any update for a week. After I checked to see what was going on, they told me that everyone receives automatic email confirmation based on the email address on their application within 2-3 days after submission; however, that email address is basically machine read from the application and there are sometimes mistakes. In my case, I used the extra space on the email line to make a note about my international phone number. The machine just read the whole line as my email and thus sent the status checker to an incomprehensible address.hiddenfist wrote:I submitted my app in late October and have yet to hear anything -- should I give the admissions office a call?

Re: UChicago 2011
Any word on when EDers hear back? I couldn't tell from the spreadsheet who was ED and who was RD, although most dates seem to be concentrated around February (which I assume is RD).
I saw one "acceptance" date on 12/18, but a lot more acceptances in mid-January. Thoughts?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
