To confirm everyone's suspicions, the 2/11 batch of "decision letter pending" statuses are in fact rejections (at least they seem to be as I have just received mine and everyone else that I have read about that had that status has also been rejected). Good luck and congratulations to everyone who will be attending Wake in the fall. It looks like I'll be going to Charlotte Law if I don't decide to take a year off, retake the LSAT and start all over.

I'm kinda getting antsy for the next batch of acceptances. It appears that I applied just a few days too late for the old 1/29 batch, and since then it's been silence. I guess the day is not over and it could still even be today.

Are those waitlists essentially rejections, for all intents and purposes? The line does appear to be 164.

Actually, NC in general is known for being a foodie haven. While this applies much more broadly to the Research Triangle area and the western NC region near Asheville, Winston is likely not an exception. Most people who move to NC from urban centers like NYC/SF/Chicago are blown away by both the variety and quality of what is available.
I hope so.
is there a trader joes in w-s? the wife-to-be loves that store and wouldnt know what to do without one.
Looks like the closest one is in Charlotte, and then Chapel Hill.
Winstion Salem is a small town? Winston Salem has at leat 157,000 people if not more. How do you call that a small town unless you are from NYC or LA. Wow. Plus it is in the Metropolis of Greensboro and High Point with Charlotte an hour and a half away and RDU a 2.5 hours away. You Have to be kidding me.
P.S. rejected by Wake via snail mail on February 18

The Winston-Salem metro area is actually ~400,000 and the Greensboro-Highpoint-Winston triad is ~1,600,000
That said, Winston feels a lot smaller that in is. It's sort of a sleepy town.
This is coming from a kid who grew up in a really small town out in the middle of nowhere.

Not to be a jerk, but you probably should have read a couple of my posts before and after the one you quoted to understand that I live in Chicago..... So yes, going from a city with ~3mil population to one with ~215k I think would enable me to qualify w-s as a small town relative to what im used to. and if we are talking metro areas, its ~9.6mil to ~1.6mil. i understand you are probably disappointed in your response from wf, but no need to jump all over my
opinion.

I thought W-S was a small town, too.
But that's coming from Dallas / Fort Worth.

Haha..my hometown has a population of 6,000, I'm actually pretty confident horses are more prevalent where I'm from, we do have a Wal-Mart (24 Hour) and a wildly popular Mcdonalds lol

I haven't read too much on the forum since I just joined but FWIW, applied on 1/14, status checker changed to Administrative review on 1/27, changed to Congratulations! on 1/29. Received letter a few weeks ago.
Good luck to anyone still waiting!

Same CR date, got the email congratulating me on acceptance literally 10 minutes ago (1:52 PM Pacific), then I went to the status check and it says Admin Review 2/22

163, 3.5 for those wondering.
+1 almost identical numbers. I called three weeks ago and they told me I would hear back in one or two weeks, but I guess not.

In about 20 minutes ago via e-mail!
Woo-Hoo.....I'm excited. Wake has always been one of my top pics for a number of reasons. No information on scholarship yet (keeping my fingers crossed that they are competitive with other offers) nor admitted students weekend. I'll probably just visit on my own during my spring break though. Yea...i'm really excited about this one.
