their website and status checker is down- does this mean decisions? or are they just screwing with us?

Probably means just what it seems - technical difficulties. It is also raining pretty good here in LA, so that might be having some sort of impact on their server provider or something along those lines.

By "got back to" do you mean notified of acceptance decision or the actual scholarship? If it's the former, they've gotten back to a few people on here so far this cycle.

I was just commenting that since we are not auto-admits, we were probably thrown into a huge borderline pile. It will take something special in our apps for us to get accepted.

Of course this is just speculation on my point.

Calm down, kids. You're not going anywhere until August so what difference does it make to hear today v. next week? USC takes a long time in part because they want to put together a class that really works together. My class is very close and the rumours of the collegial atmosphere are understated.

Best of luck and don't panic yet. Panic in May or June maybe.
