just curious what were your numbers with UCLA waitlist... I am shooting for the stars with UCLA...

3.47/169. Like I said, with my gpa I wasn't really expecting an acceptance, but I figured I'd try anyways. UCLA loves the GPAs. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you though!

OOOH what language? It was great for Korean, even helping learn the Hangul first time through.

Cool. Is the Rosetta stone software MSA or some dialect?

Also, I was suggest the Pimsleur cds for Arabic. They are normally available at your public library. They are quite good, and I think one set of them is in Syrian.

I feel like this happens from time to time (especially with state schools where youre not a resident....unless youre a resident of MN, in which case I'm even more sorry). It's unfortunate, but with solid numbers like that you'll definitely be getting into schools just as good.
