They don't for ASW so I highly doubt they do for open houses

Does snail mail = acceptance? Or do they also reject, waitlist, and defer via snail mail?

Today is day seven after getting the alumni interview request email (and immediately confirming that I want to interview) and I still haven't been contacted by my interviewer. I know the next step is calling admissions to check on this, but I'm wondering if I should wait a few more days or just do it. Anyone else have to wait awhile before hearing from an interviewer?

Finally got an interview invitation (alumni interview). Applied 11/27.

Did the ASW trick as well and received the e-mail with a username and password, making me assume it worked, but when I try to use the combo they sent me, it says the username and password are invalid. Any one else have this issue?

I've seen other people post earlier in the thread that it takes 2-3 days to actually work. Once you get the info you're in though- congrats!

I just encounter the same problem Makes me nervous.

Had the same issue - could request info starting on a Monday, but it told me the username and password were invalid for most of the rest of the week. Ended up getting my acceptance stuff that Thursday. Don't worry!

It lets me log in now! Still nothing in the mail though :/ Fingers crossed that it comes today.

Still waiting to be contacted by my Alumni interviewer. Today is day 8. I'll call admissions after the weekend if I haven't heard anything.

I'm curious if anyone knows of any meaning to different kinds of interview offers? I'm seeing group, skype, and alumni. Just based on the location of the applicant and what makes sense or something more?

same here, and the dean said we should expect to hear within 2-3.5 weeks. 3.5 weeks is today for me and still waiting, i don't have a good feeling about it either.

I try every day too and nothing, so I've reached the same conclusion. I was just waitlisted at penn so now I'm dying to hear back from all my other schools hahaha
