I went UR on 1/4. Hasn't changed since. No FR...no nada. Should I just move on with my life? Reverse splitter.

I am in the exact same situation. At this point I feel like I'm just going to pretend I was dinged and plan accordingly.

I've been UR since 12/19 and no updates since then...ugh

Could be as fast as a week if admitted directly by Dean Tom, or could take a month for FR.

It means he couldn't immediately make a decision on your application and it was sent to "faculty review" for further consideration (sorry, I think there's a better explanation somewhere in the thread). It's a good thing, you're still in the running! Any decision can occur after faculty review, but it is a decent sign and you'll find out around the date given.

is that an improvement or a downgrade from my chances straight out of application? I had a 167/3.77 from berkeley undergrad and applied on jan 10th. I just cant tell if this is good or bad news

In other news -- did anyone else apply for the Hyundai Kia scholarship at Berkeley with their initial app? I haven't been able to find much info about the scholarship online and was wondering we can expect to hear back. Thoughts?

I also applied for this one. I think they will notify the recipient at the same time as the other scholarships that required essays, which according to their website is mid-March I believe. I'm wondering whether receiving this scholarship would have an adverse effect on the normal merit aid you would receive. I.e., would they just reduce your merit aid award by the amount of the application-required scholarship?

Cool... just have to keep waiting, I guess! My understanding from the website is that they evaluate merit scholarships separately from Application-required scholarships. But of course, if someone was given a huge merit scholly, and then was also granted a named-scholly, they would adjust so that the total funds do not exceed COA.
