My scholarship email said that I had to accept the scholarship by April 1...is there a way to extend this deadline? Do you think it would be ok to call them to ask for more time? I'm waiting on scholarship info still from some other schools I'm interested in, and also waiting on decisions from Columbia and NYU that should come in April.

Also curious about this. I still haven't gotten initial responses from some of my schools, and I don't expect to be done negotiating for several more weeks.

I was thinking about asking for an extension at ASW.

Yesterday offered 15k/year on top of full. Agree that everyone in admissions has been really nice so far. Wish I could visit!

Was your initial scholarship a full? I got bumped up to full, curious if there's any possibility of even another offer. (I doubt it, but hey you never know)

I received the admission letter but am not really sure what I'm supposed to do right now.

Disagree! It took a month for me. Took a number of people in this thread as long or longer. I would say a week is premature.

Yeah, you'd expect them to get all their offers out before the deposit deadline. I imagine everyone who's waiting should hear something this week.

I asked about this and they said it may come after the deadline. I asked if I would be able to receive an extension if this were the case the admissions office said they only grant extensions if one is still waiting on a decision, but to email a few days before the deadline.

I tried to let them kindly know that it would be difficult to put down a deposit without knowing my final scholarship amount. I'm not sure the person on the other side of the general admissions email really understood the point I was trying to make.

Does anybody know about the admitted students portal login? In my emails from Wash U, I never got any login info for that, and it's not the same as the status checker one.

Edit-- Leaving this in case anyone else has the same problem. The login was my email, I asked to reset my password and got in.

Those of you coming to ASW should for sure come to the diversity happy hour on Friday. I think its at 4pm. There is going to be awesome food and I'm sure a bunch of current students taking a break from studying for finals who would be happy to chat and answer questions.
