This was correct, by a hair. Got in at 6:54.barley wrote:I feel like it's been evening (5-7ish) of the tenth day for a lot of people, thoughSabbathPuppet wrote:Ugh.benwyatt wrote:Not at all.SabbathPuppet wrote:Is there a somewhat standard time/day of the week when PT people hear back?
People have heard on all days, times and hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

I understand you being a little down, but I can't tell you how rare the bolded is in the applicant pool. NA's get significant boost in admissions, so this definitely could be YP.cc1012 wrote:It could be YP. I wrote a "Why Duke" to try and avoid a YP, but I may not have come off as sincere enough.gobears!! wrote:Sorry it wasn't an acceptance, but it definitely is not bad news Cristiano. Stats: 169, 3.8, tribally enrolled NA
I also have minor C&F issues so I'm not sure how that affected things. Ah well, it definitely puts a damper on my weekend.
Congrats to those who have been admitted so far and good luck to those applying in the future!

Thank you, fliptrip and cc1012. Unfortunately, I'm not PT. And nothing happened yet, still under review.fliptrip wrote:I, and I think a lot of other folks, heard right on time on day 10, so hope you both get some great news tomorrow to start your weekends! FWIW I heard around 3pm eastern on my day.cc1012 wrote:Sounds like you have a decision coming up!zty wrote:I'm still under review, but the "current status date" changed from 9/28 to 10/7. Does anyone know what's the implication (if any)?
Assuming that you are PT.
Congratulations to all those accepted:)
cc1012, cheer up, you never know what will happen until the end of the cycle. Last year a girl was waitlisted by both UVA and Duke, and eventually admitted by HLS.

Does anyone have any insights into the scholarship application process? or is this not the right forum?

Thanks. Do you happen to know what the interview is supposed to assess? Our understanding of the costs or...urbanist11 wrote:Well eventually we will probably segue this type of talk into the class of 2019 forum, but for now this is the right spot! Basically they will send an email around Dec. or so with information about doing an optional scholarship interview. After that you apply for financial aid (incl. merit) along with fafsa/need access info around January. I believe awards come out a few weeks after that.SabbathPuppet wrote:Does anyone have any insights into the scholarship application process? or is this not the right forum?
